The Film & Screen degree bridges the gap between traditional film-making and the fast-changing technological landscape of the 21st century.
Your first year focuses on core creative processes involved in film, TV and digital media. You’ll develop practical skills in screenwriting, producing, editing and production management. The second and third years are dedicated to your chosen pathway, enabling you to develop the specialist skills needed to work in a specific area of the industry.
The TV & Digital Media pathway focuses on producing and storytelling for the small screen.
From day one, you’ll produce original work using our specialist equipment. This practical experience will develop your skills in 360-degree, multi-platform broadcasting. As well as practical work, you’ll explore the rich history and evolution of broadcast media.
This combination of theory and practice will train you to produce content that responds to emerging trends and effectively engages with your audiences.
You’ll also have the option to study abroad at one of our international partners to broaden your understanding of this global industry.
This degree offers the intensive training needed to work in this exciting industry. You will graduate with a professional portfolio that you can showcase to potential employers.
Tuition Fees
- £18,000 (fee for one academic year. Fees for subsequent years are subject to increase)
Entry Requirements
2 A-levels (typically A-C) or international equivalent Mathematics GCSE at grades A-C/9-4 or equivalent Interview
English Language Requirements
IELTS: Overall score of 6.0 with no score below 5.5 in any of the four components, or equivalent
