This practical degree opens doors to a wide variety of careers and can serve as the first step in your training to become a qualified psychologist.
You will explore the breadth of human experience and learn how to understand and predict behavioural patterns. Practical workshops will enable you to put evidence-based knowledge into practice and develop skills in research, analysis, reasoning and critical thinking.
You’ll cover all areas of psychology from biological and cognitive psychology, lifespan development, social psychology, historical issues and research methods.
You’ll have access to our dedicated laboratory with specialist equipment for eye-tracking and recording psycho-physiological measures such as brain activity and heart rate.
This degree is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), conferring Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the BPS.
Psychology is a highly versatile degree that will equip you with the transferable skills to work in fields as diverse as health, education, social services, advertising, marketing and human resources.

3 A-levels (typically BCC) or international equivalent Mathematics GCSE at grades A-C/ 9-4 or equivalent
English Language Requirements
IELTS: Overall score of 6.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent
